At the archaeological camp, there are about 50 people – scientists, students, schoolchildren, people of different professions, lovers of archeology. The head of the region noted that the region is richly historical and unique archaeological monuments.

“Kandulski Palace is part of the global nomadic culture. Surprised that 800 years ago, people without special tools, using modern technology, was able to mathematically calculate, to design, to process and deliver building material. Unfortunately, we treat such objects are not so carefully as we would like. First, it is not under global archaeological research, and secondly, about these unique monuments knows only a narrow circle of specialists and a wider audience is unaware of them. I am glad that today there is a chief of RAS, Professor, far Eastern Federal University Nikolai Kradin, TRANS-Baikal state University professors, students, pupils. Because they are monuments of Federal importance, the work on the study and conservation must be conducted by the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation jointly with the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, of course, with the participation of the regional authorities. Abroad such unique monuments is given more care and nemateleotris, we see that such archaeological objects become the obligatory point of tourist routes, in this respect, we still have a long way to go. I believe that to solve problems, TRANS-Baikal state University there is a good archaeological base, rich in tradition and world-class specialists”,- stressed the head of the region.

The chief of RAS, head of chair of General history, archaeology and anthropology, far Eastern Federal University Nikolay Kradin explained that such archaeological monuments not only in Russia but in the world.

“It is a Palace that built in the open steppe in the era of the Mongol Empire. His study was made by famous scientists, one of whom was a prominent Soviet archaeologist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, laureate of State prize of Sergey Kiselev. Today marks the 110th anniversary of his birth. He is known for his work in studying the era of early nomads and ancient cities in Central Asia. Also Sergey Kiselev studied unique archeological monuments on the territory of Transbaikalia – Kongousouha Palace and Kirgizskogo of the settlement,” said Professor Kradin.

Kirgizskoi settlement – the beginning of the 13th century monument located on the territory of the Argun district. It was a big city with several neighborhoods. His excavations were found many archaeological sites, evidence of developed relations of the Mongol Empire and countries of the Far East and Central Asia, were also found materials that came from Europe. Near it was found the famous “Chingizov stone” is a stele, which dates back to 1225 year – the first monument on taramangalam language. A sign which is applied, is interpreted by researchers differently, it is clear only that on the territory of this ancient settlement lived plement Ounce of Genghis Khan, who was the son of the beloved brother of Genghis Khan, Qasar. Currently “Chingizov stone” is kept in the Hermitage. Kandulski the Palace is a monument of a later time. The Palace was surrounded by various buildings, pavilions, places to stay subservient, the front decorated gate.

Konstantin Ilkovsky at the end of the tour visited the tent city. At the request of Professor Nicholas Krajina the head of the region will assist in the solution of everyday problems of the archaeological expedition – the water supply and the purchase of new tents.
